That’s why we need the very best people to join us across our Finance team – professionals with fresh ideas, different perspectives and the skills to bring improvement. As a Purchase To Pay (P2P) Manager, you’ll help us make the best use of resources and deliver our Medium Term Financial Strategy. Join us and help create a better future for our residents.

Leading a dedicated team, you’ll provide a first-class P2P service to the rest of the Council. To make sure it’s outstanding, you’ll have the chance to innovate and bring improvements. You’ll develop automation and the design of business processes, creating solid business cases to get solutions off the ground. You’ll then need to embed change across P2P and the wider department. With your leadership, we’ll create an exceptional function that’s efficient, fit for purpose and totally customer focused.

To join us, you must be an expert on Purchase To Pay and Accounts Payable modules. We’re also looking for knowledge of finance system applications such as Framework I and Northgate. However, this is a role where you need to be a great project manager too – with a track record of implementing change to create the optimal service. Behind these skills will be a relentless drive for customer service excellence. You’ll coach your team to give their best and manage their performance. Clear communication is essential, especially when working with suppliers and our wider team. But the cornerstone of your success will be knowledge of good practice and financial control frameworks.
