Hours: Part time 2/3 days per month that includes:

Board meetings with additional preparation time/ad hoc meetings (Executive/ subcommittees etc).

The Director of Finance will play a crucial strategic role in the heart of our business at this crucial state of our development.

Candidates:

We are looking for an outstanding Accountant with sound professional finance skills able to guide the organisation in social and community projects.

The Director of Finance will work closely with the CE and Chair and be accountable to the full Board. Candidates must be Chartered Accountants, CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA fully qualified with experience of working with SMEs at Board or Senior Management level.

The Post-holder needs to demonstrate senior management experience including scrutiny of annual accounts, auditing, management reporting, budgets, compliance, risk management, authorisation of contracts and major expenditure, banking and investments.
