Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: West London

Salary: £19,000 - £23,000 dependent on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

As a result of their continued growth, they are now recruiting for a proactive Accounts Assistant to be based in their West London offices. Career development opportunities and training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • All ad hoc and administrative tasks within accounts office
  • Monthly reconciliations, includes Bank and Nominal Ledger Reconciliations
  • Purchase Ledger: processing supplier invoices and payments
  • Sales Ledger: Daily sales and customer invoicing
  • Procurement
  • Assisting other team members as and when required

Progression of Responsibilities:
  • Maintain internal control procedures
  • Assist in preparation of management accounts, month end and year end accounts
  • Accounts receivable and managing cash flow
  • Internal/external commission calculations, checks and queries
  • Daily and monthly preparation and processing of sales ledger into Quickbooks
  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Assisting in quarterly sales bonuses calculation

  • Aptitude for figures and analysis
  • Steady under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines is a must

Competencies Required:
  • Experience in a similar field beneficial
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Strong computer skills, advanced level of MS Excel essential
  • Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheets
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks package advantageous
