If you are in a Deals/M&A role, perhaps in one of the Top Tier Accounting Firms (Big Four, Top 20) but are growing tired of timesheets but want to be able to continue in a fast paced, adrenaline filled role then this role is for you. 

Your Deals/M&A experience could be in any of the following types of teams:

Transactions/Deals per se

Deals - Valuations

Deals - Audit

Deals - Forensics

Deals - Assurance

Deals - Restructuring & Insolvency

You will likely be ACA qualified in the years 2012 - 2015, not earlier and not later than so that would be somewhere between 4 -7 years PQE including ACA training period.

Working for a US headquartered globally renowned Insurance Underwriter, who are constantly recognised as one of the main players in this space. The London office services all territories bar North America and London is where the investment, management time, expansion is currently at.

You will be highly numerate, literate, not afraid of negotiating deals with other accountants, lawyers, advisor's and brokers. Most of the London team have come from professional services Top Tier Law and Accounting Firms (Magic Circle, Silver Circle, Big Four type firms). 

English will be your mother tongue, although additional language exposure would be the icing on the cake but not a pre-requisite for this role. 

In terms of role content you will day to day be involved in cross-border, international focused insurance deals negotiating Warranties & Indemnities, deploying your Accounting (and other experience i.e. it could be Valuations that is your major). Undertaking specific due diligence and working closely with the Underwriting team. You will participate in client, broker face to face meetings and tele-cons with the insured and their advisor’s. You will see yourself as a people person who is equally technical.
