The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Temporary Credit Controller to strengthen the finance team witihn a huge market leader. The business has grown, and continues to grow, under the leadership of the original Directors who preserve a 'family' environment within the head office based in Birmingham.

The role will involve supporting several key processes underpinning the business with direct contact with the Directors, Managers and customers on a daily basis as well as other external parties as required. An autonomous role whereby you will be given the freedom to own your role within an attractive friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistent communication with customers to obtain aged debt
  • Daily monitoring and management of customer accounts
  • Liaise between clients and customers to resolve invoice queries
  • Resolve any ledger issues or problems
  • Reconcile credit notes and any additional ledger housekeeping
  • Sending out communication to customers requesting overdue monies
  • Report any ongoing credit control issues to the Managing Directors

You will need:
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Clear, confident and concise telephone manner
  • Happy to work independently
  • Professional and helpful manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft - Excel, Outlook, Word


£8 - £11 per hour
