Growing company based in Slough, Berkshire are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. Reporting to the MD and looking after 2 members of staff your key responsibility is to provide management and statutory information support to the company and commercial operations (including costing and pricing studies) and to be proactive in relation to cost control.
Key tasks of the Financial Controller include preparation of all management and financial accounts for local management. You will also have responsibility for all general ledger accounting & controls ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations have been performed and that all statutory returns have been filed including VAT and PAYE. The Financial Controller will also implement budget and forecasting activities and liaise with the Bank in relation to invoice discounting etc
Ideally you will be a part/qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and in return you will receive a salary of between £40k-£50k.
