Public Practice Recruitment Ltd are working with a dynamic Oxfordshire based practice with a reputation for proactive. This exciting Partner Designate job in Banbury is suitable for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant already working in a public practice accountancy firm.
This presents a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant who is looking for progression into a more client facing and strategic role, or for an existing Partner Designate/Associate Director who wishes to take a more proactive role in practice development. Moving forwards this Job will open up the potential to be actively involved in the operational and strategic development of the practice, with the longer-term objective being to progress into a Partner level role.
Our client is an independently owned accountancy firm based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The culture internally is dynamic and forward-thinking with the onus on developing creative solutions for clients.
To underpin recent growth and ensure future success the practice is now seeking an ambitious individual with the ability to lead, as well as to question, for this senior management role supporting the current Partnership team.
The Partner Designate job entails;
- Managing the flow of work within the accountancy practice
- Meeting with both prospects and existing clients to discuss the range of services
- Business Development activities designed to increase fee income from existing clients and attract new clients to the practice
- Assessing the training needs of more junior members of staff and acting as a mentor/role model
- Managing a team of fully qualified and part qualified accountants
- Reporting directly to and working closely with the Partners to create the operational/strategic growth plans for the practice
Ideally the Partner Designate will be ACCA/ACA fully qualified and will have a minimum of five years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy practice. A broad commercial knowledge base is desired for the role, and preference will be given to candidates with the aptitude for strategic thinking, along with the necessary interpersonal skills required to influence both clients and internal stakeholders.
