A Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is sought by a leading industrial FTSE-100 Plc; they boast a proud heritage and are one of the obvious leaders in their field. The post of Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager has been created by an internal promotion and will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). It will manage a team of up to 5 qualified analysts who act as Business Partners to key global business units (BUs) and will provide key analytical & strategic support to finance and non-finance stakeholders alike. Specific duties include:  
·         Manage the provision of monthly performance reporting & relevant analysis.
·         Oversee the production of Board reports that include full commentary on BU performance, supporting analysis by BU and ad hoc flash analysis.
·         Support the Head of FP&A in understanding forecasts / annual business plan and detailed budgets with appropriate analysis of variances, sensitivities, risks and opportunities for all BUs across the Group.
·         Drive the production of information used externally at key reporting times.
·         Lead the provision of support & analysis to other teams, e.g. Corporate Finance, Group Reporting, Tax & Investor Relations, IFRS Advisory etc…
·         Manage, motivate and direct the work of up to 5 qualified accountants.
·         A range of ad hoc commercial and strategic projects.
The ideal Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be a fully qualified ACA / CIMA who is currently working for a FTSE 100 / 250 Plc in a senior FP&A role. All candidates must have top decile academics, proven analytical / FP&A skills and demonstrable experience of developing qualified staff. Applicants will be comfortable providing commercial, succinct, value-added output to a range of stakeholders and will also have the maturity / gravitas to operate at all levels. Strong influencing & process skills are key to ensure success in this role as well as the chance to progress.   

Salary: £80000 - £90000 + 10k car + 25% bonus + 35% LTIP + bens.
