You will be working with the Divisional Business Partners on demand planning, reviewing business cases, tracking project financials, supporting commercial arrangements, through to project execution with the Project Delivery team.

Client Details

Managing an annual project spend of £10-£20m, tight financial control and timely reporting are fundamental success factors.

  • Project/Programme Financial Ownership: From business case inception to delivery and tracking of financials against approved business cases
  • Financial Reporting & Planning: Coordinate the preparation and delivery of the IT investment budget and the quarterly forecast updates (for Opex and Capex)
  • Divisional Project/Purchase Recharges: Manage all capex and opex recharges to the divisions, ensuring that Divisional Finance are fully supported in understanding the process and recharges made
  • Reporting: Produce monthly project reports and analysis to support the Finance Director, Senior Leadership Team, Divisions and Group
  • Internal Controls: Ensure compliance to and continual improvement in the control environment
  • Procedures, Policy & Delegation of Authority: Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, particularly around capitalisation
  • Shared Services (accounting for Capex): Liaise with the Medical Shared Service Centre (SSC) teams in Ashford, UK and Dublin, USA to ensure accurate accounting that adheres to policy


  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ ACA)
  • Proven leadership skills

  • Advanced excel skills
  • Highly engaged and proactive
  • Strong communicator and able to leverage a stakeholder network
  • Knowledge and experience of Planview and Oracle applications
