Our client based in North Yorkshire is seeking a natural business winner with strong business development skills to join the senior management team within their successful UK wide accountancy firm.
The ideal candidate will have had exposure ideally to accounts & audit work, and be confident in advising a mixed client portfolio including SME's and corporate entities. In-depth knowledge of the accounting and tax compliance required for small businesses' is essential.

This fast-paced and ambitious accountancy group works with a portfolio of clients ranging from Start-ups, Charities, Family Owned business and Corporates with T/O of up to circa £100m. Services including Audit, Tax, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business advisory, Banking & Finance, Corporate Recovery and HR.
* Responsibility for leading Audit work for a diverse clients base, including Charities
* Reviewing work in progress, monitoring deadlines and budgets
* Attending meetings with new and prospective clients
* Completion and review of personal and corporation tax returns
* Providing a general tax advisory service to SME clients (with support from the Tax team where required)
* Business Development and Networking activities
* Managing a varied portfolio of non-Audit clients (Accounting & Tax compliance)
* Mentoring and training of other members of the team
The perfect Partner Designate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm (some within Audit). Confidence in communicating with clients at all levels is imperative, along with a strong desire to exceed service expectations. Leadership skills are required to manage and develop a team of technical staff, whilst looking after a portfolio of clients.
This role would suit a Senior Accountant or Audit Manager looking to progress into a more challenging role. With the potential to be part of a fresh thinking, growth focused practice, as well as a fantastic team culture, this job should not be missed.
