This long established family-run £2m business in the construction sector in North London prides itself on the work it does and the relationships it has built up. 

It offers a long term opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Manager to enjoy a stable fulfilling role which will involve:-

  • Bookkeeping for 4 small interesting companies in the group
  • Accounts to trial balance and general ledger reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and supplier issues
  • VAT returns, timesheets, payroll and CIS returns
  • Processing sales invoice, credit control and managing bank accounts
  • Reconciliations, month end, management reports and intercompany
  • Credit card management and expanse claims
  • Effectively communicate financial issues to senior management
  • Job costing analysis and overhead reports
  • HMRC verification of contractors and subcontractors
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Effective use of Sage Line 50 and Excel
