Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the ABS Finance Manager the candidate will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts including:
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Variance analysis to budgets.
  • Cash flow.
  • Monthly reporting packs.
  • Quarterly VAT returns.
  • Reconciliation and reporting of sales ledger transactions.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of purchase ledger transactions.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Analysis for audit purposes and ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

Ideally, you will have 2-3 years post qualification (ACCA or CIMA) experience, although candidates qualified by experience maybe considered and would be able to demonstrate expertise in management accounting or financial management. You will have strong IT skills being at an intermediate to advanced level in excel, be proficient at nested IF, VLOOKUP and pivot tables. You will be pro-active, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative and meet deadlines. You won't be afraid to challenge and question the integrity of information and show great attention to detail and accuracy.
