This is a management role within our Finance and Risk Management team, which has a key role to play in supporting Ofgem’s corporate priorities by delivering high quality finance services; good governance and risk management; and leading innovation and best practice in finance and risk. As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll manage the preparation of our annual report and accounts and work closely with both internal and external auditors in preparing these. You’ll lead on the calculation of annual licence fees for energy suppliers and be responsible for VAT liaison within Ofgem. And you’ll be an expert source of accounting advice on a range of projects and operational activities.

This role will suit a CCAB qualified accountant who can offer expert knowledge of accounting standards, and a track record in leading, motivating and developing others.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues across the organisation are both essential.
