Public Practice Recruitment Ltd are looking for a Senior Accountant (ACCA/ACA qualified) with a minimum of three years’ experience of working in a public practice firm, to join an exciting and engaging accountancy firm based in Leeds. You will be working as part of the Accounts Preparation Team within a leading national accountancy firm.

This will be a perfect opportunity for a Senior accountant who is hungry for growth and development, and to be a part of an enthusiastic team of accountants. The purpose of the job role based in Leeds is to deliver accounts preparation services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The responsibilities for the Senior job role in Leeds include:

  • Accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited companies
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • VAT and Tax Returns
  • Maintaining strong and engaging relationships with clients

The perfect candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ experience of working in a public practice firm. This is a Senior role, ideally suited towards a confident accountant who can handle a substantial amount of client contact, with the ability to be able to work unsupervised and independently.

  • Experience of SAGE
  • Excellent time management skills
