Are you an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior seeking an opportunity to make your mark? Are you looking to expand on your management experience and to develop further leadership skills? 

This successful West Yorkshire independent accountancy firm is looking to recruit an ambitious and focused Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. Based in Halifax you will play a significant role within a busy Audit & Accounts team, delivering compliance services and other advice to clients across the wider Yorkshire Region. 

With a fast paced but supportive culture, this firm has a great mix of clients and combines client service excellence with a focus on efficient delivery. The Senior Accounts and Audit role will be a roughly 70 % accounting / 30% audit and will provide you with access to an interesting portfolio of clients across a mixture of Industries. 

This is wonderful opportunity for someone with Audit & Accounts experience who is looking for a fresh new challenge, within a lively and successful firm.  There will be ample scope for progression and study support will be provided where applicable. 

We are ideally seeking for this role a qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, with some audit exposure. You will need up to date financial reporting knowledge and a good commercial focus to be successful in this role. 

Duties will include; 

* Providing audit services to a wide range of companies from SME to large multi-nationals 
* Management of the whole audit process from planning to completion meeting 
* Preparation of consolidated accounts/statutory accounts 
* Corporate Tax work (compliance and basic planning) 
* Cash flow forecasts 
* Reviewing the work of Juniors/Trainees 

The perfect Audit & Accounts Senior will ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified  with a number of years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm. The successful applicant will need to be confident in dealing face to face with clients as well as overseeing and helping to train junior members of staff. 

This job would be ideally suited towards an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior looking to progress their career in obtaining their first Audit & Accounts Senior position, or an existing Audit & Accounts Senior looking to join an employee focused accountancy firm.
