Site Finance Manager
Reporting to the General Manager on a day to day basis and with a strong line of communication to the Group Finance Director, this high profile role acts as business partner to the GM.
As a key member of the site leadership team, you will act as a guide to all stakeholders to ensure that they arrive at the best business decisions to support and influence the development and implementation of the site strategy. The position will play a key part in the site transformational agenda, where in conjunction with the GM you will be involved in change programmes from design and implementation, through to communication and employee engagement.
You will be expected to develop an expert knowledge of the Site Operational Model and all of its facets, and an understanding of the KPI's that drive performance and the levers that drive change within them.
Key responsibilities of the role will also include:
•The management and control of the financial accounting systems within Dairy Crest policy guidelines to safeguard the Company funds and working capital
•Providing financial guidance and insight to the site management team to ensure performance drivers are understood and actioned straight away
•Providing leadership, coaching and development to the on-site finance team
•Actively managing the capital spend programme of the site ensuring robust evaluation of project payback and associated sensitivity
•Developing and driving key site processes, pushing for continuous improvement and efficiencies
•Supporting the Operations Financial Controller in function wide projects and initiatives
You will be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) and be able to evidence a proven ability to Business Partner and influence senior stakeholders.
