Robert Half are currently working with a leading Milton Keynes business that is looking for a Group Management Accountant to to join their change orientated management team to build and expand upon their recent developments, deliver integrated and customer focused services. The post holder requires a relevant qualification as a qualified accountant, at least 2 years post-qualifying experience in commerce, excellent personal and communication skills, a track record of achievement and ability to manage budgets combined with a strong customer focus.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of full divisional accounts ,including supporting analysis. You will work alongside the Group Director in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, strategic plans and associated risks and opportunities. This will include but not be limited to: supporting the review and analysis of company performance, budget planning and monitoring, capital investment appraisal, internal financial controls, preparation of financial reports including P&Ls, balance sheets, and commercial input to business initiatives. A similar but assisting role is also required for the Property Division.· Responsible for the financial control and finance service for the Division and assist in the Property Division· To act as a Business Partner to the Director in supporting the management of his businesses.· To develop the reporting, procedures and systems for the Division and assist likewise in the Property Division· To provide Business Analyst support as required to the Group Executive Director and the Board for all Divisions within the Group· Management responsibility for payroll· As a senior manager the post holder will work with the Group Executive Director and fellow Managers to drive the performance of the businesses.· Oversees all accounting procedures and systems used by the Division. · We are looking for someone who has a commercial outlook. · In addition we are looking for someone who can contribute to the planning and development as a member of the senior HO team.Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience required to perform role:· Graduate· Professionally qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA· At least 2 years post qualifying experience in commerce· Good systems experienceHigh personal and communication skills
