Finance Controller

Primary Duties

Finance Controller for a £50M business selling products and services to a blue chip customer base.

Reporting directly to the Divisional MD with strong liaison with the Sales function

Direct and manage 10 direct reports (general accounting, management accounting, treasury, A/R, A/P, credit and collections, treasury)

Full P&L and B/S responsibility managing all aspects of the finance processes

Full Budgeting and Forecasting responsibility and monitoring performance to plan

Full responsibility for Legal entity Accounting and Financial Statements accuracy and completeness and closing activities

Manage the internal and external audit process

Work with Management team to close an existing site and to integrate into the main site in S Yorkshire focusing on the financial aspects, supporting the commercial and operations teams, and getting the finance function up and running at full capacity and performance

Work with Management team to put in place management reporting to allow them to meet objectives

Management of all statutory reporting deadlines

Work with management team to improve operations and results
