Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious PQ Accountant to join my client based in Exeter. This role encompasses all aspects of the financial management of a growing business and will, in due course, result in the recruitment of further team members as the business grows. A study package is on offer for those wishing to complete CIMA/ACCA and you will be a minimum of PQCIMA/PQACCA/AAT qualified at present.  Duties and responsibilities will include:

·         Preparation of group management accounts in excel including a consolidation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow

·         Month end process

·         Purchase ledger entry

·         Invoicing

·         Sales ledger entry

·         Credit control

·         VAT returns

·         Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register

·         Preparation of wages schedule for the payroll bureau

·         Payment of PAYE and NI

·         Calculation of commission payments

·         Data entry for stock and cost of sales using bills of material

·         Preparation of schedules mindful that the data will need to be audited and therefore ensuring a strong audit trail.

·         Month end process

·         Reporting/Variance analysis

·         Maintenance of the daily cashflow forecast
