As General Ledger Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for closing each period end in an accurate and timely manner, adhering closely to IFRS requirements as you do so.

Able to successfully manage a dedicated team, you must ensure they meet Process Lead objectives, while actively enhancing their performance. What’s more, you must aim for improvements within the General Ledger, as well as our finance community and always achieving JSOX compliance. Able to develop good customer relationships in order to increase our understanding of entity finance, you must also support the Process Lead during quarterly external audits.

What we’re looking for

The importance of this role means you must have a strong understanding of General Ledger, together with first-class team leading skills. Ideally working towards an accounting qualification, you’ll already have experience of an accounting function within a large multinational company. You must also be able to draw on Finance Accounting experience, ideally IFRS, and some SAP (FI and CO) knowledge is advantageous. With a naturally flexible approach, you’ll fully appreciate the need to provide accurate and consistent data to strict deadlines.

You may have experience in the following accounting roles: Finance Manager, Accounts Manager, General Ledger Manager or General Ledger Supervisor, Finance Supervisor, Accountant etc.
