The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is the government department responsible for promoting British interests overseas and supporting British citizens and business around the globe.

The Corporate Services Centre is part of the FCO’s Corporate Services Directorate and has a vision to become among one of the best providers of corporate services in central government.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to help us achieve our vision. The role involves an interesting mix of analytical and processing work with daily interaction with a wide range of stakeholders in the UK. You will be required to investigate and resolve anomalies and deliver results to agreed timescales and will also play an important role in supporting the development of innovative financial solutions to continuously improve the team’s efficiency and effectiveness working to challenging targets.

Opportunities may also exist to assist with other projects and administer duties within Operations.

We are looking for someone with experience in an accounts payable or invoice processing environment with a proven track record of managing and developing a team. Intermediate Excel skills are also required along with experience of a large financial systems, (preferably Oracle).

Candidates need two A Levels or equivalent qualifications along with 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English. GCSE’s need to be at grades A to C.
