Johnston Carmichael posts 10% revenue growth

Scottish accountancy practice Johnston Carmichael sees revenues climb to £26.9m despite fragile economy

Top 25 Scottish practice Johnston Carmichael has announced a 10% jump in its
revenue following expansion of its business in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Turnover for the year ended 31 May 2010 rose to £26.9m despite difficult
economic conditions and higher than the firm’s estimated income provided for
this month’s
Accountancy Age Top 50

The two offices in Scotland’s biggest cities grew fee income by 36%, now
accounting for nearly a third of its income. The firm also acquired
Edinburgh-based practice Duncan Young last year.
