Rebrand look will be adopted by 80 member firms internationally
Grant Thornton has today unveiled a new rebranded look that will be used by
80 of the networks member firms around the world.
The rebrand will now see Grant Thornton identified by a purple ‘Mobius strip’
geometrical shape and a new type face.
Michael Cleary, Grant Thornton’s UK CEO, said the rebrand demonstrated the
importance of having a strong corporate identity across borders.
‘The market is no longer content with firms, however competent within
national borders, that are unable to access a strong and cohesive international
organisation,’ Cleary said.
Grant Thornton’s international head David McDonnell said the new branding was
‘another important step in differentiating Grant Thornton in the marketplace’.
The ‘Mobius strip’ that will be the firm’s new symbol is a geometrical figure
discovered by German mathematicians in the 19th century.
