Andy England promoted to partner as Menzies continues push for SME tax specialisms
ANDY ENGLAND has been promoted to partner at top 20 firm Menzies.
England, a corporate tax specialist at the firm since 1997, is promoted as Menzies looks to him to develop tax services for companies investing in research and innovation.
Richard Godmon, senior tax partner at Menzies, said the move was an “important part” of the firm’s strategy to develop a range of SME tax specialisms.
“Since 2012, we have helped companies identify over £18m in qualifying R&D expenditure and saved them over £5m in tax. Andy’s extensive experience will be put to good use developing our tax services for companies that invest in innovation.”
Menzies, formed in 1969, operates from six offices in the South East. It is 23rd in the Accountancy Age Top 50 +50 Survey of firms, with £28.5m revenues for the year ending 30 June 2012.
