Big Four firm boosts diversity with partnership announcement
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has announced the admission of 53 new partners,
25% of which are female.
Currently, only 9% of PwC are women, but the new intake significantly boosts
the numbers.
PwC has added 29 partners to its assurance practice, 24 to the advisory
practice, 20 to the tax practice and one to the firm’s compliance department.
The Channel Islands firm has also appointed one new partner.
Along with the 21 new partners recruited from outside during the year, this
brings the total number of new partners admitted this year to 74.
Kieran Poynter, chairman, of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP said: ‘This year’s
partner admissions demonstrate our continued confidence in the future and desire
to provide our clients with the best skills and experience in assurance, tax and
advisory. It reflects good growth across all areas of our business and it
highlights the breadth and depth of talent within the firm.
‘I am particularly pleased that 25% of this year’s new intake of partners are
women which demonstrates our commitment to diversity.’
