Deloitte launches academy for company board directors
Purpose-built academy by Big Four firm an 'innovative development' says CBI
Deloitte has this week launched a new purpose-built academy for UK public
company board directors, designed to provide technical training, support and
guidance across a wide range of management issues relevant to business leaders.
Sir Digby Jones, director of the Confederation of British Industry, said
today: ‘The Deloitte Academy is an innovative development that helps equip UK
plc directors with the skills and knowledge they require to make a meaningful
personal contribution and respond successfully to the challenges of doing
business on the world stage.’
The academy will open on November 14, with the full programme beginning in
January 2006, and will be free to members.
