Preparing to play another tune in lower profile
One of the accountancy profession’s institutions is undergoing a fundamental shift this week. Chantrey Vellacott’s very own mouthpiece, Maurice Fitzpatrick, is leaving for pastures new.
The media-mad tax partner has moved over to the original accountancy consolidator – sorry, business services-based group – Tenon after many-a-year’s service.
It now remains to be seen whether Maurice’s column inches remain as long and far reaching now that he has moved to a less-established practice.
As you may recall, Maurice came third in the annual survey of accountants in the media last year. It will certainly be interesting to see the next set of results, and TS has a fair idea what the likely outcome will be.
