Following on from last week's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire performance by a pair of accountants, TS is pleased to offer you more news about accountants on the box.
Last Saturday, ‘Alistair from Edinburgh’, a 27-year-old accountant, was thrilled to be picked by ‘Lisa from Birmingham’ on Cilla Black’s Saturday evening attempt at matchmaking, Blind Date.
TS is hoping that history could soon repeat itself as of course the very first BD marriage featured our Alex from Big Five firm Ernst & Young.
The latest happy couple have been whisked off to spend some time getting to know each other on the romantic island of Corfu, obviously somewhere which is well-known for its low key and sedate holidays.
TS was intrigued with the goings on and wanted to know more about the pair, in particular what attracted the 24-year-old Lisa to our accountant.
Unfortunately, an extremely tight-lipped press office at LWT declined to tell us any of the juicy details, which is a shame as TS would love to be able to mention the firm that produced such a Romeo.
However, we can exclusively reveal that the happy couple ‘got on very well with each other’.
TS hopes that we haven’t ruined your Saturday evening entertainment by letting the gossip slip.
