They’re upping the ante over at KPMG Towers in Blackfriars with the appointment of a new press officer, sorry, UK Head of Corporate Communications.
Gavin Houlgate has joined the Big Five firm fresh from running the broadcast and interactive division of PR firm Weber Shandwick Worldwide. An impressive CV, Houlgate claims the BBC, Sky and Reuters as former employers. But TS was amused to note that, according to industry organ PR Week, Houlgate was also the launch editor for the infamous, and now defunct, L!ve TV cable channel.
