Accountancy-related shares (recruitment consultants, software suppliers and business services providers) have taken a hammering in recent months.

Analysts say that the Enron fallout, September 11 and a global economic slowdown have all played their part. But interestingly some suggest they have also been oversold.

It’s ISA season and while it might be a little early to see the launch of an accountancy shares ISA, we could start to see a recovery in the Accountancy Age/ADVFN index in the coming weeks.
