He’s got personality

Perhaps the most interesting award – and the only one voted for by readers – is that of Personality of the Year. Many of you will have supported the eventual winner, Andersen’s former London senior partner John Ormerod.

Sympathy for the UK firm’s plight in falling victim to mistakes made thousands of miles away presumably lay behind the wave of support Ormerod attracted.

But it is a reminder of the importance of governance reform globally.

There is no such thing as a local problem anymore.
