For those of you who have been turned down for a credit card – don’t be ashamed you are in good company.
For Horwath Clark Whitehill chairman and anti-consolidation mouthpiece, James Gemmell, recently recounted the day he was ‘mildly cross’ on hearing he had been turned down for a Visa Goldcard. Gemmell, never one to let others have the final say, clicked into gear.
Within minutes he was on the phone to the head man at the credit card company and guess what – within a matter of weeks he duly received his card.
Maybe it’s worth listening when he insists the partnership model is alive and well.
