It seems that managers at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the firm which came in for what could be described as an unfair amount of stick for choosing a long-winded brand in 1997 – would not be happy with the nickname given to its IT services department.
For according to one PwC employee, the office – officially called Global Risk Management – is known by something a little less impressive internally.
Now, far be it from TS to speculate why the department is known lovingly as GRiM, but one can only assume grim is indeed a term of endearment.
