    Mediclinic appoints PwC as auditor

    PWC has won the audit of FTSE 250-listed hospital group Mediclinic.

    The UAE-headquartered group, which in October last year confirmed its merger with Al Noor Hospitals, confirmed PwC would replace existing auditors KPMG for the 2015/2016 financial year with immediate effect.

    The combined Mediclinic group is a private healthcare group operating in Southern Africa, Switzerland and the UAE. It runs 73 hospitals with around 10,200 beds and 35 clinics, and has nearly 32,000 employees.
