Hazel Burt's appointment follows on from two last week
SCOTTISH MID-TIER FIRM French Duncan has appointed Hazel Burt to the role of tax partner after ten years at the firm’s Stirling office, where she headed its tax compliance and consultancy team.
The move forms part of an ongoing programme of change and development at the firm, following on from appointments of Craig Reid and Kenny Stevenson to senior manager in its entrepreneurial services and wealth manager in the firm’s financial services arm respectively.
Burt said: “I’m delighted to be made a partner in our flourishing tax team. In addition to my particular interest in the construction and agricultural sectors, I look forward to advising our expanding client base on all aspects of capital taxes planning, personal tax planning, tax investigations and property taxation.”
French Duncan sits 58th in Accountancy Age‘s Top 50+50 supported by Wolters Kluwer with 18 partners, a fee income of over £10.25m, nearly 200 employees and a network of offices spanning Scotland’s central belt.
