Jane Greenwood joins Alliotss as head of global personal tax
ALLIOTTS has appointed EY ex-pat tax specialist Jane Greenwood as head of global personal tax.
Prior to her stint at EY, Greenwood (pictured) was a member of Menzies’ private client tax team specialising in residence and domicile issues.
Her role at Alliotts will focus on providing international tax advice to inward investors coming into the UK. She will also work with individuals returning to the UK who need advice on what tax they need to pay and to which jurisdiction, and the internationally mobile whose affairs may involve property or other assets and income sources in several countries.
International corporate tax partner David Gibbs said: “We are delighted to welcome Jane to Alliotts, her expertise in international personal tax advice will enhance our existing tax offering and help us to meet the growing needs of both the internationally mobile and the global entrepreneur.”
Greenwood added: “I am returning to Alliotts to take up this exciting new role after a brief stint with them early on in my career providing temporary cover to their tax team. Alliotts has a wonderful team of people and a great workplace culture. When the opportunity to return to Alliotts with such an interesting role became available, I was extremely keen.
“My new role at Alliotts means I get to use my knowledge in a stimulating and challenging environment as the firm focuses on expanding their international tax offering.”
