ANOTHER partner has left the Baker Tilly to join Quantuma, with Nick Simmonds joining the restructuring sepcilaist.
Simmonds is the latest to join Quantuma in the wake of the merger between Baker Tilly and RSM Tenon. Quantuma is run by former RSM Tenon insolvency chief Carl Jackson, and the firm snapped up two RSM Tenon offices following the Baker Tilly deal. There have subsequently been a number of defections to Quantuma.
Simmonds, who will serve as partner, has previously served at Begbies Traynor then RSM Tenon and subsequently Baker Tilly. He joins Quantuma at the same time as manager Kerry Cadet. Previously at BDO, Cadet qualified as an IP in 2011.
Jackson, lead partner, said: “We are delighted to have Nick on board to aid us in expanding our geographic coverage. Kerry will also be a welcome addition to the Southampton team as we see our workload expanding significantly”.
