TOP 20 FIRM MHA MacIntyre Hudson has joined the Baker Tilly International network.
One of the UK’s oldest firms, MHA MacIntyre Hudson will replace the eponymously-titled UK firm Baker Tilly in the network. The former UK member firm has joined RSM – but is currently still using the name.
MHA MacIntyre Hudson is ranked 18th in the Accountancy Age Top 50+50, with revenues of £41.8m. It has 72 partners and 539 staff.
“Our strategy is for sustained growth, and being part of an ambitious, growing and dynamic international network is a key element in that. Baker Tilly International is that network,” said Rakesh Shaunak (pictured), chairman of MHA MacIntyre Hudson and the MHA network.
“This is a unique opportunity and we feel that the value proposition offered by Baker Tilly International is an exciting and compelling one that will offer real benefits to our clients, partners and our team.”
Baker Tilly International CEO and president Geoff Barnes said that the firm was “strongly aligned” with the international network.
“As well as sharing our values and commitment to client service, MHA MacIntyre Hudson has demonstrated a very successful track record, notably by increasing their revenues in a difficult market by nearly 30% over the last five years,” said Barnes.
“Being awarded National Firm of the Year in the British Accountancy Awards in 2013, and being shortlisted again in 2014, are very positive affirmations of their ambition, growth and success. Our new member firm also brings to our network the MHA network of nine high quality firms providing client service and coverage across the UK.”
MHA is a UK network of firms formed by MacIntyre Hudson alongside five other regional practices in 2010. The network now represents 177 partners and 1,500 staff, with revenues of $177m (£110m).
