MAZARS has appointed Lee Cartwright as managing partner of its Birmingham office.
Cartwright (pictured) steps up into the post after Mazars’ central region managing partner David Chapman announced he was to focus on his role as national head of acquisitions, reports The Birmingham Post.
He joined the firm in 1995, qualifying in 1998 before becoming partner ten years later.
He currently provides services in internal audit, external audit, advice on mergers and group structures and governance and is also one of Mazars’ lead specialists in the housing sector.
Cartwright said: “Following David Chapman is no easy task. During the past ten years, he has overseen the growth of Mazars, moving its main office from Dudley into Birmingham, and is leaving the office established as a growing force to be reckoned with in the region.
“But I look forward to the challenge and I know I will be supported in continuing our growth by my fellow partners and staff at 45 Church Street in Birmingham.”
