REEVES PARTNER Fiona Hotston Moore is to leave the firm after almost two years in order to take up a partner post with East Anglia-based Ensors.
Hotston Moore (pictured) qualified with KPMG in Cambridge and was managing partner at MRI Moores Rowland between 1998 and 2007, becoming one of only two women to run a top UK accountancy firm. She had spells with Mazars and Crowe Clark Whitehill, before joining Reeves as joint head of business development. She also developed corporate tax and forensic analysis services at their London office.
She was recently appointed to the board of University Campus Suffolk and is also a member of the practice committee of the ICAEW.
She will take up her new post on 1 June.
Ensors currently boasts 16 partners across five offices throughout East Anglia, including Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ipswich, Saxmundham, as well as London.
Hotston Moore said: “I have been looking for the right challenging professional opportunity to allow me the personal goal of having more time with my family in Suffolk. I am delighted to be joining Ensors, which is one of the strongest, most dynamic independent practices in East Anglia and one with a reputation for the quality of its staff and partner team.”
Ensors managing partner Danny Clifford said: “Fiona has an extremely strong track record in building practices and business development, which will be invaluable as we look forward to the next stage of our own development in this, our 125th anniversary of the founding of the firm. Her substantial experience provides us and our clients with great opportunities.”
