Treasury confirms new Autumn Statement date

Autumn Statement moved to 5 December

THE TREASURY has confirmed the chancellor’s Autumn Statement will now take place on 5 December.

The statement provides an update on the government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility.

It was originally scheduled for 4 December.
