Ex-BBA Aviation group FD takes non-exec role at Stobart
Transport and distribution business Stobart recruits Andrew Wood as its non-executive director and senior independent director
FORMER BBA AVIATION group finance director Andrew Wood has taken a non-executive director role at transport and distribution business Stobart.
Wood, who becomes non-executive director and senior independent director, was most recently group finance director at BBA Aviation from which he retired in April 2010. Prior to that role, Wood held a similar title at telecommunications business Racal Electronics.
He is currently non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee at listed businesses equipment rental company Lavendon, chartered airline Air Partner and textile service business Berendsen.
