Pubs and brewery business replaces EY with Grant Thornton in audit role
PUBS AND HOTEL CHAIN Fuller, Smith & Turner has appointed Grant Thornton as its auditor, in place of EY.
The Fuller’s chain, which was named Brewery of the Year by the Good Pub Guide last week, took the decision to change auditor after a competitive tender.
Fuller’s saw revenues climb 7% to £217.5m for the year ending 30 March 2013, while adjusted profit before tax rose 5% to £31.7m.
The business has recently launched a new craft lager, Frontier, while it spent £3.8m to enter the premium cider market with the acquisition of Cornish Orchards.
Its market cap is £306.6m, witha share price of 949p.
