HR OUTSOURCING AND PAYROLL provider Ceridian UK has appointed Nick Treston as its new chief financial officer.

Treston joins Ceridian UK from Sophis, part of Misys, where he was chief financial officer of an international business with operations in EMEA, Asia, North and South America.

Between 2005 and 2011, he was chief financial controller at Arqiva where he worked on acquisitions and supported the business on commercial bids for the provision of digital transmission services.

Doug Sawers, managing director of Ceridian UK, said: “After a tough start to the year, we have enjoyed double-digit growth since the spring and are exceeding all of our business plan targets.”

Treston started his career at Price Waterhouse (now PwC) before joining RMC as an operational analyst and Thames Water as a group accountant.
