Andrew Watt and Rebbecca Busfield set up Watt Busfield Tax Investigations
THE FORMER HEADS of the tax investigations team at Alvarez & Marsal have established an independent tax consultancy, Watt Busfield Tax Investigations.
Providing tax investigation and consultancy services to the clients of accountants, lawyers and financial services, the practice will be headed by Andrew Watt and Rebecca Busfield (pictured).
The practice will offer confidential advice to any UK individual, partnership or company on how to utilise the voluntary disclosure facilities available from HM Revenue & Customs, or assist when the taxman has already challenged those entities’ tax affairs.
Partner Rebecca Busfield said: “We anticipate that there will be a significant increase in the number of cases taken up for investigation by HMRC. Our aim is to offer clients a cost-effective way to reach full disclosure, delivered to the highest possible standards.”
