Oliver Corbett will join LCH Clearnet in December
WHOLESALE INSURANCE UNDERWRITER Novae Group is looking for a new FD following Oliver Corbett’s resignation after nine years with the firm.
Corbett is moving on to take up the post of group CFO at asset traders LCH Clearnet in December, while Novae’s search for a successor is already underway.
His previous roles include a managing director role at private banking firm Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 2001 to 2003, prior to which he was partner at Phoenix Securities between 1996 and 2001.
Having joined Novae in 2003, Corbett presided over strong growth in the company after a period in the doldrums.
John Hastings-Bass, chairman of Novae, said: “Oliver … helped revitalise the fortunes of this business. The management team of which he has been a part has transformed Novae into a strong, growing company, and the board wishes to record its gratitude to Oliver for his role in our renaissance. We wish him well in his new career.”
