Accountancy Age & Robert Half get into the swing of it

Accountants' shoot for glory at the annual Golf Challenge
WITH THE OPEN Championship at Lytham about to get under way, the UK is ready for its annual love affair with the links. For Accountancy Age, this started a week earlier with our annual Golf Challenge, held in partnership with recruiters Robert Half this year.
Porters Park Golf Club looked glorious on a rare sunny day as more than 60 competitors teed it up and competed for the prizes, and the glory.
A shot gun start saw all 16 teams tee off at the same time – and four or so hours later, they were back at the beautiful clubhouse, enjoying a cold drink and discussing their favourite shots of the day.
Following a three-course dinner and plenty of golfing chat, (pictured R – L) Andy Dallas (Robert Half director) announced the winning team: Daniel Le Fleming from MetLife Europe, Nick Haslehurst from TTT Moneycorp, James Smart from London and Capital and Mark Wainwright from Robert Half.
Rory, Tiger and Lee can only hope for such an enjoyable day on and off the course this weekend.
Details of the 2013 golf day will be posted on AccountancyAge.com as soon as they are confirmed.
