Alex Sanderson becomes the new head of the firm's audit practice in Scotland
KPMG HAS STRENGTHENED its Scottish audit practice with the appointments of a new head of audit and internal audit director.
Alex Sanderson becomes the new head of the firm’s audit practice in Scotland after moving from KPMG’s Gatwick office. He succeeds Lorraine Bennett, who is due to take up a post with KPMG’s outsourcing operations in India.
Sanderson has been with KPMG for more than 26 years, working in a number of locations including London, Barcelona, North and South America, and Tokyo.
Scott Wallace, who rejoins the firm from AEGON, has been appointed as director for internal audit, risk and compliance, and will be based at KPMG’s Edinburgh offices with responsibility for the firm’s internal audit team across Scotland.
