Grant Thornton appoints Simon Bevan as audit partner
After 30 years at mid-tier rival BDO, Bevan joins Grant Thornton's London audit practice for private clients
GRANT THORNTON has appointed Simon Bevan as a partner in the accountancy firm’s London audit service for private clients.
Bevan was previously a senior partner at BDO where he worked for 30 years. He left the top-10 accountancy firm last year to take a nine-month sabbatical, which included time in China where he is a visiting professor at Xiamen University.
Bevan said: “I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to take a break and to spend time in China where there is vast potential for international accounting networks such as Grant Thornton and I look forward to using that international exposure for the benefit of the firm’s clients.”
