Deloitte appointed administrators to builder MJN Colston
Big Four firm seeks a buyer for building services company
Deloitte has been appointed administrator of MJN Colston, a building services contractor.
Daniel Butters and Matt Cowlishaw, partners at Deloitte, the Big Four accounting firm, have been appointed joint administrators of the Stockton on Tees-based company.
MJN Colston provides mechanical and electrical engineering services for public and private sector clients in the commercial and industrial markets.
The joint administrators intend to continue to trade the business in the short term, while seeking a buyer for the business and its assets, Deloitte said.
Around 148 employees have been made redundant.
